The 5,000-8,000 young people that are flocking to Strasbourg have to wait no longer: the European Youth Event and YO!Fest have finally arrived and the YO!Village is ready to greet the thousands of young people from all over Europe.

Gathering to debate ideas for a better Europe, young people attending EYE and YO!Fest will be treated to a wide array of debates, talks, activities, workshops all mixed with a vibrant atmosphere and fun activities and entertainment in the YO!Village. From DJs playing at YO!Jam, to street artists at YO!Graffiti there will be music, dance, areas for chilled out chats and stands run by many different youth organisations.

As well as all the activities taking place across the YO!Village, the Youth Forum is running several stands, including its LoveYouthFuture, League of Young Voters and Vote at 16 campaigns as well as one on internships, mobility and structured dialogue.

The Youth Forum is also running one dedicated to its own activities, which marks the entrance to the YO!Village. In this stand YO!Fest-goers can find out all about the work of the Youth Forum, as well as take part in various activities including a social media activity where they make a message, are photographed and this is then tweeted to the Youth Forum’s Twitter followers. There will also be hand painting on a message wall, where people can share their thoughts on education.

It’s also going to be a great space to chill on beanbags and deckchairs have informal chats about key issues that young people care about.
