YO!Fest partners meet in Brussels to co-create the EYE2016!

27/10/2015

Over the weekend of 23rd-25th October, nearly 50 YO!Fest Partners got together in Brussels to help shape the European Youth Event (EYE), in particular the Youth Forum's YO!Fest.

The 7th edition of the YO!Fest will take place in the context of the EYE 2016 in Strasbourg. Following the great success of the first EYE in 2014, the European Parliament is again partnering with the European Youth Forum to ensure a diverse, meaningful and inclusive event.

The YO!Fest partners, youth organisations from within the membership of the Youth Forum as well as new contacts, have committed to contributing to building the event, communicating it as widely as possible and bringing groups of young people to Strasbourg. Bringing in their inspiring ideas, experience and energy, the partners took the first steps in creating a youth-led YO!Fest at the EYE. The partners developed activities and identified opportunities for collaboration. They shared their ideas on how to ensure an attractive programme and an interactive village for young people by young people.

The YO!Fest partners will meet again in March 2016 to finalise the programme and ensure their groups are well-prepared for the event.
