The European Youth Forum’s outgoing and incoming boards (2013-2014 and 2015-2016) had a “handover board meeting” in Brussels from 11th to 14th December. It gave the newly-elected board members the chance to become more familiar with the various structures of the Forum and to gear up striving for youth rights!

On 22nd November, the Youth Forum’s member organisations elected the board for 2015-2016 at the General Assembly in Cluj-Napoca, Romania. Before officially taking office, the newly elected members had their first meeting and received presentations on the Forum’s external communications, the governance structures and partnerships.

The incoming board met with the Secretariat and the board 2013-2014. As well as an opportunity to get to know each other, it was also a chance to reflect on what has been achieved over the last two years, in order to prepare for the challenges of the future.

During the meeting, the process of implementing the Work Plan 2015-16 was presented to the new board. The different areas of work and responsibilities were assigned to incoming board members.

The new board is now ready to strive for youth rights!

The Youth Forum would like to thank the members of the board 2013-2014 for their great work and wishes them all the best for the future.
