The European Youth Forum has opened the democratic process to elect its new board.

At the Forum’s General Assembly on 20th-22nd November in Cluj-Napoca (Romania) the Forum’s membership will elect a new board, including a President, two Vice Presidents and eight board members. Members have between now and 5th October 2014 to submit their nominations for the board.

The eleven-strong board, all volunteers, is made up of representatives from the Youth Forum’s 98 member organisations. Each board has a two-year mandate and defines the overall strategy of the Youth Forum, in accordance with the mission of the organisation, its work plan and policies.

During the campaign period, candidates will be able to introduce themselves and their ideas on an equal basis via an online platform. And, of course, there will be official space given to all candidates to present themselves at the General Assembly.

Also at the General Assembly a new Financial Control Commission, made up of four representatives from our member organisations, will be elected.
