EEC meeting focuses on developing sustainable youth organisations

18/09/2014

Last week (11th to 14th September), the European Youth Forum continued its work to develop youth organisations, by organising part of the Eastern Europe and Caucuses meeting in Moldova.

This meeting aims to support the development of National Youth Councils in the Eastern Europe and Caucuses region. By coming together, active EEC NYCs are able to learn from each other’s experiences and expand the impact that NYCs have across the region.

The NYCs attending received training, discussed the state of affairs of youth activities in the region, and provided the group with updates on national youth council and international non-governmental youth organisation projects.

Organisations discussed potential projects for the future and focused on one of the European Youth Forum’s main goals: strengthening youth organisations. We hope that such collaboration will lead, not only to internal improvements in these organisations, but also to enhanced joint work between them, creating better communication and partnerships for all members.
