A training of trainers: the Pool of Trainers in Brussels

02/03/2016

The Pool of Trainers (PoT) met for four days in Brussels from 27th of February to 1st of March for a « Training 4 Trainers » on the rights-based approach and several other topics.

The Pool of Trainers is made up of 15 highly skilled and experienced individuals, from our member organisations, selected by the European Youth Forum to serve as a resource pool for member organisations to carry out training and facilitation. The PoT runs training courses and workshops related to youth issues, as well as facilitating seminars and evaluations. It also helps to develop training tools and materials.

During this ‘Training-4-Trainers’, the PoT members are trained on the new campaign of the European Youth Forum YouthUp, on the Youth Forum Academy, the Quality Assurance Framewok and process, and also the rights based approach, a pivotal approach in the advocacy work of the European Youth Forum.

The PoT is available to support all Youth Forum member organisations. To make use of the PoT, member organisations are welcome to contact Jo Deman, Policy Officer for the Youth Forum, at jo.deman@youthforum.org.
