A fruitful weekend working on Education!
On Saturday and Sunday the Youth Forum held the third meeting of its Working Group on Education in Brussels. Composed of representatives from six of its member organisations - AEGEE Europe, ESU, OBESSU, WAGGGS, CNAJEP, LiJOT and CNAJEP - the Working Group continued its work of support to take forward the Forum’s work for the right to quality education for all young people in Europe.
During the meeting the Working Group had the opportunity to reflect and give their input on the topic of validation of non-formal and informal learning.
The Working Group got hands-on in brainstorming how the 2014 Education Week that the Forum will organise this Autumn in Brussels could work to best effect. Some creative ideas popped up!
This meeting was also the occasion to prepare the main questions to be addressed during the Roundtable on Quality Education that the Forum is organising this Wednesday (19th March) at the European Parliament in Brussels. The discussion was based on the Forum’s recently adopted policy paper on quality education.
