- Brief history
Founded in Rome in 1958, CEJA represents the interests of young farmers in Europe. Today, CEJA consists of 22 member organisations and 3 observer members from the 25 EU Member States and 1 associated member from Bulgaria and represents around one million young farmers in Europe.
- Objectives
CEJA represents its members' interests at Community level with the aim of improving the situation of young farmers in the EU.
CEJA keeps its member organisations informed of Common Agricultural Policy developments and acts as a forum and meeting place for EU young farmers.
CEJA promotes exchange visits under the PEJA programme to improve understanding between young farmers in the EU and beyond.- Activities
